RegCalc ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it when you use regcalc.vercel.app and related services.
Data we collect
- Usage data: Basic analytics (pages visited, device type) may be collected via hosting providers (e.g. Vercel) to improve the service.
- License keys: When you validate a PRO license, your license key is sent to our server and to Lemon Squeezy for verification. We do not store license keys permanently unless required for activation.
- AI assistant (PRO): Messages you send to the AI assistant are forwarded to Anthropic's API for processing. Do not include confidential or personal data in prompts.
- Calculator inputs: Calculations run in your browser. We do not upload your register values unless you explicitly use a feature that sends data to our servers.
Payment processing
Payments and subscriptions are handled by Lemon Squeezy (Merchant of Record). We do not store your full payment card details. Lemon Squeezy processes your email, billing information, and purchase records according to their privacy policy.
Legal basis (GDPR)
If you are in the EU/EEA, we process data based on: (a) contract performance (providing PRO features you purchased), (b) legitimate interests (security, analytics, product improvement), and (c) consent where applicable.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, or portability of personal data, and object to certain processing. Contact us at hello@regcalc.app. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Cookies
We use minimal cookies or local storage (e.g. to remember PRO activation on your device). Third-party checkout pages may set their own cookies.
Data retention
We retain data only as long as needed to provide the service, comply with law, or resolve disputes.
Changes
We may update this policy. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
